In 2013, The Numero Group released the band Sara Lund is undoubtedly one of the best drummers in the Pacific Northwest — and has been for as long as some of you have been alive. Her steadily adventurous drumming built a solid foundation for Unwound released a full demo tape in 1991, and recorded an album in early 1992 (though it would not be released until 1995 as Unwound). In July 1992, Sara Lund replaced her friend Sandeno as the drummer for the band. This line-up would remain in place until the band's dissolution in 2002. Unwound was a beautiful, terrible, defining thing. The years have harbored bitterness and regret, at times overshadowing the value of our creation.
